Thread-rolling screws form a nut thread in cast blind holes, transition points, drilled, lasered and punched sheet metal parts. Unlike thread cutting, with thread-rolling, the structure of the material is not interrupted in the counter thread but rather displaced and strain-hardened.

Eliminates thread-cutting

Saves on costs

Non-cutting thread formation

TRILOBULAR shape of the screw combined with the radius profile of the thread flanks

  • Low tapping torque with greater flank coverage by the thread

High clamping force

Large thread flank coverage

High load-bearing capacity

Strain-hardened counter thread (nut thread)

Greater load-bearing capacity

Play-free and self-locking seating of the thread

  • Reduced likelihood of screw working loose

Protection against loss

The formed thread constitutes a "metric" standard thread
